We don’t just rely on guest posts to help generate links, so it’s important that we clarify some misunderstandings and misconceptions about the articles we receive.
- We accept articles with links.
- There is no limit on authority, contextual, or other links in the article. Please make sure to add two to three unique links to websites that have real authority, asking questions like “Is this a scam” or “Why doesn’t everyone know about this?”
- We want to be able to get in contact with you. In order for us to do this, please add 1-2 links that we may link back to an article on our website. This is very important to us.
- You’re allowed to include one link to your personal blog or website in the body of the article.
- Links need to point to a blog post on your website.
- When you make your website, you want to make sure that it’s reflective of your brand. Links to Home Pages or Product Pages will be removed.
While we would love for all our articles to contain backlinks relevant to the topic, we don’t guarantee that you’ll have them. We only accept links that add value to an article–not without it.
One way to make your content more shareable on Medium is to include external links. They should be relevant and not hidden in any way. We know all about link building, so our authors and contributors get a profile link on their site.
We reserve the right to remove any links that are put within an article. However, there is one exception. In other words, we will not remove posts that bring positive change or insight to your audience.

We’ll never respond to a draft, partial, or short pitch. If you try to send one of these, don’t expect a response.
